Product Description

NON-SHRINK, HIGH STRENGTH REPAIR MORTAR

CC repair mortar is specially formulated repair mortar designed to fully meet the
requirement of effectively repairing cracks in plasters , avoiding the use of costly
sealants and putties. CC repair mortar is a dry powder when mixed with water it
forms a creamy consistency mortar which is ready for use in repairing cracks and

Usage

CC repair mortar is ideally suited for repairing for superficial plaster cracks. CC repair mortar can be used for repairing ceiling cracks and plasters with ease because of its viscosity. cracks arising due to plasters cracking at junctions of wall and column or brick work and soffit beam can be effectively sealed. Cracks at parapet wall junction and roof slabs are also sealed with CC repair mortar. The product suitable for rendering.

DIRECTION OF USING :
Preparation: It is essential that the surface of the concrete to be repaired is sound, clean and uncontaminated. Chase the crack and form a neat “V” shaped grooves at least 6mm wide on surface. Damaged plasters can be cut out in more or less square sides. Defective material must be removed carefully using reducing tools, needle gun or sharp tools and chipping hammers. Force must not be applied, as it will damage the sound material beneath.

MIXING
Just add water to CC repair mortar by volume in water/powder ratio of 1: 3 volumes of and mix thoroughly to get an even consistency mortar. In demanding situations CC repair mortar can be used to replace water and the same can be used for priming the surfaces before application of CC repair mortar. Whereas, mixing by trowel is suitable for small mixes, it is recommended that an efficient mechanical
mixer be used.

CURING
Start curing after the material has sufficiently hardened for two days and then allow drying out slowly i.e. protect from rapid drying due to wind, sun or excessive heat). Use of curing compound is ideal in repairs.

Dosage / Coverage

COVERAGE:
In crack repair 1 kg of repair mortar repairs 11 linear feet of crack chased to a width of 6mm and a depth of 3mm. In rendering 60 kg of repair mortar covers 100sq.ft of area to a thickness of 2mm.

Shelf Life

At least 12 months in manufacturer’s sealed drums. Protect from frost, store above 5ºC. Stir pigmented compounds before use. Protect the drum from direct exposure to sun.
