ACRYLIC CO POLYMER BASED HARD WEARING WATERPROOF COATING CC guard ex is a ready to use two pack (white liquid and a pack grey cementitious powder) protective and waterproof coating membrane.
Usage

CC guard ex develops excellent bonding on all building material with crack bridging property up to 0.40mm due to its flexible film.
o Breathable waterproof coating.
o Bridges hairline cracks in concrete structures.
o Waterproofing of water tanks, swimming pools etc.
o Exterior waterproofing of basement walls.
o Terrace waterproofing and terrace garden waterproofing
o Arresting all kinds of dampness in concrete mortar, rendering, brickwork and
block work.
o For sealing internal basement and cellar walls against dampness, sunken portion
of bathroom.
o All kinds of external and internal waterproofing"
Dosage / Coverage/Yield

COVERAGE
1 kg of CC guard ex mixed Pack A &B will provide coverage of 5 to 6ft in two coats
of application (total thickness 1-1.5mm)
Shelf Life

12 months if stored in manufacturer’s sealed packs in a cool and dry place away from moisture and heat
Properties

APPLICATION
All surfaces should be sound, clean and free from any oils, grease, paint, bitumen or other surface contaminants and efflorescence, dirt/ dusts etc including water repellents.

Step 1: Surface should be dampened with water preferably over night.
Step 2: Remove excess water so that the surface is saturated with water but dry.
Step 3: Mix full quantity of Pack B powder into liquid pack A or mix them in 1:3 ratio by weight (A:B), till smooth paintable / brushable slurry results.
Step 4: Apply with fibre brush the mixed material.
Step 5: Protect freshly applied surface from direct sun light and rain water.
Step 6: when 1st coat is reasonably hard (4 to 6 hours –no nail impression) apply 2 coats.
Step 7: Start curing by sprinkling water to cover on the applied surface for first 24 hours. Thus 100% waterproof surface is achieved.

Note: white bloom will appear over the coating surface if rainwater and water splashes fall over.
