Polysulphide Sealant

Polysulphide Sealants are a two Part Polysulphide Sealant. Tammsflex NS/SL and Maxflex PS are leaders in the waterproofing chemicals market.

A two component sealing compound based on polysulphide polymers blended with fillers and chemical curing agents, which cure after mixing to form a durable rubber like seal. This sealant is highly elastic and is able to withstand continuous extension and recovery.

Because of their excellent resistance to fuel and chemicals, Polysulphide Sealants are used with most common building materials such as concrete, plaster, brick and stone.

They are specifically used in airport construction,various aerospace applications, sewage plants and areas where high chemical properties and UV resistance are required.

It exhibits superior resistance to many common chemicals fuel oils and solvents, ultraviolet light and ozone, making it suitable for exterior use, and for use where the sealant is subjected to contact with chemicals solvents and oils.

Polysulphide sealants are usually formulated as one- or two-component products which are based on sulfur-containing liquid polymers.
